RUDY COLLINS

Harlem born and raised, started freelance work in the 80’s and in 2008 started to record images of the Harlem Brownstones and their transformation from dingy edifices’ to beautifully restored Dutch and Italian architecture.

Exhibited at The Interchurch, Harlem School of the Arts, Kente

Royale Gallery, Harlem State Office Building Art Gallery, Man. Boro Pres. Office, 96th Bway, Wilma Jennings Gallery, Harlem Hospital, and Social Corner.

The architecture defines the community, and in the case of Harlem Brownstones, some neighborhoods are like artwork.

My coffee table book, Harlem Today and Harlem is Art are available on Blurb.com.
